The first time on the full size field and what a season it was. After a disrupted start with all the inclement weather, we then had injuries and illness (the dreaded Covid), to deal with a long the way. It took till late in the season to get everyone on deck. The boys never gave up though. Along the way they played some fantastic football and scored some excellent goals. Which then led to a late season run winning our last 4 games and eventually finishing third. The first time playing competition and making the finals is a great effort. A tough game in the semi saw us get past Sylvania and into the final. Again the rain returned, we tried our best and played our hearts out but it wasn’t to be and went down 2-1 to the eventual premiers Gymea.

The team – Keeper Ryan. Defenders, Jack, Fin, Oli, Mason. Midfielders, Leo, Josh, and Remy. Strikers Zach G, Logan, Lucas, Jacob, Zac W, should all be proud of how they progressed and played through out the year.

A big thanks to Shane for organising the team and doing a such a great job as manager. Tim for all your work with Ryan and Logan. Zac and John for all their help at training. I know the boys also enjoyed having you guys around. And last but not least a big thanks to all the parents for all their support throughout the season. It was a really enjoyable season and looking forward to do it all again next year.
