It has been a pleasure to have been asked to coach such a great bunch of young players. Having coached previously for many years and at different levels, and then having a break for the previous two seasons, it was something that I was really looking forward to. With 16 players in the team, it was always going to be a big ask to manage. Potentially 4-5 subs each week and with only 25-minute halves, it was at times difficult getting fair play time for everyone. I want to make special mention of my coaching team, Mark and Jason, and thank them for helping to make my job easier at training and on game days.

A huge shout out to each of the players. They are all a great bunch of young footballers, and I have enjoyed being such a small part of their football careers. Each player showed improvement throughout the season which is the reason I love coaching so much. I hope they have enjoyed the season as much as I have enjoyed coaching them.

It was extremely difficult to pick just one player for the Coaches Award. Looking at commitment, dedication and keenness, I could literally throw a blanket over so many in this team. However, I had to choose just one. This player truly deserves this Award.
