Another year done and what a year it was for the U13A’s!

After last years rain we were just glad to be playing football. It was the first year we got to play in the state cup and what fun that was. All the boys celebrating Leo’s late winner, out at Penrith is probably still my pick for the moment of the year.

In the regular season we played some really good football finishing 2nd with only 3 losses. The best defensive record in the competition by a massive margin and the second best attack. Really well done boys you should be proud of your efforts. Unfortunately we had a tough call and lost the semifinal by a penalty. We then let our nerves get to us and got beaten in the final to finish the regular season.

A massive thank you to a fantastic coach, Henry. The boys continue to get better and better which is the result of all the time and effort you put in. It’s great to watch this team develop and we can’t wait to see how far they can go. There is definitely a bright future.

To the boys, what a great season. Each and everyone of you should be proud of the effort you put in, the never say die attitude and the football you played. Well done!! Bring on the champions of champions.

To the parents. Well done, we couldn’t ask for a better bunch of kids. Thank you for all your support and commitment. Your attitude towards the team makes it easy to manage which is much appreciated.

We had a great year this year, hopefully we can finish it of with a good performance in the champions of champions competition. I can’t wait to see how we go. Well done everyone!
