After a delayed start due to COVID the boys were keen to train as soon as they could and showed plenty of energy and team spirit at the training sessions under the guidance of coaches Adam and Niam. The team welcomed some new players this season in Lachie, Zac, Josh and Tom, which added strength and a new dynamic.

After a convincing win in round one against Menai the season was underway. A bye in round 2 was followed by a mix of wins and close losses leaving the 14B’s mid-table about halfway through the season. Then, something clicked and they went on a run of 4 straight wins of 4-0 margin to finish the season on a high. This included convincing wins against other top 4 teams. Overall the mighty 14B’s finished in second place with 29 goals scored and 4 conceded. The boys were on a roll and in any other year would have looked forward to a final series with confidence. Bring on 2021!!

Overall a great bunch of boys who improve and grow each year, and who love playing soccer together. A huge thanks once again to our coaches Adam and Niam who play for Eagles in U21’s and dedicate so much of their valuable time each year as coaches and mentors. Great role models!!
