14C Season Report
Well the 14C’s happened to be a tough grade, however, one point I wanted to make after the first game was to never give up. Every single player throughout the entire season gave 100%. As a Coach I am really proud of how far the boys developed during the season.
Liam – You played consistently throughout the season, great use of your body and amazing strike on the ball.
Braiden – Always smiling during the game and constantly thinking about the game. You read the play so well.
Matty – A tough season missing most of it through injury and illness, however, you saved the best until last. You read the play well, strategic in your attack and pass to set up shots on goal
Dallon – Quote of the season “can I score twice in 10 minutes?’ Well maybe you didn’t get two in that game but your shot on goal in the last few seconds of the game earned your team a well-deserved draw
Jayden – Looking on fire in the first game you unfortunately picked up an injury taking you out of the game for 6 weeks. You certainly made an impact on your return scoring some cracking goals
Jarrod – Defending against some really difficult teams this season you kept your composure and cleared the ball with confidence. Your strike on the ball and position improving in every game
Ryan – as the right winger you ran hard without question every single game. You tackled players double your size without fear often winning the challenge
Zac – Congratulations on winning Player of the Year. You deserve the award and no one could doubt your enthusiasm and determination in every single game
Owen – Some of your saves throughout the season were outstanding. Your team mates often commented that you kept them in the game.
Rhys – As the season went on you throw-ins were one of the longest and your ability to help out in different positions on the field is a huge asset
Dally – Congratulations on winning Players Player this season. It was a clear victory. Your team respected you as Captain, responded to your requests on field and most importantly respected you as a person.
Noah – you were often requested to cause chaos up the front and get the defenders questioning the attack. You did that without fail and put the defenders under so much pressure in every game
Jamo – Congratulations on winning the Most Improved Player. Not only do you have a great strike on the ball as the season went on you really started to show off your footwork skills. Well done Jamo
Jye – fantastic slowing down any attacks in that right wing position and awesome filling in as a defender when key players were away. Great and consistent season Jye.
Fletch – it’s always difficult being the coach’s son. Fantastic season and so close to winning player of the year. Your speed in defence and teamwork with Zac prevented so many shots on goal.
Well Done 14C’s. Bring on season 2021
