Well, what a year for the boys!

We started the season playing the old nemesis – Kirrawee – and although we lost that game, the boys went from strength to strength over the next few weeks, earning them a spot in the top 4 for most of the season. We ended up finishing up in 3rd, but clawed our way to the Grand Final where we met those pesky Roos! The boys played fantastic, but in the end Kirrawee were just too tall, I mean strong!

The encouragement and positivity that the team showed each other every game, was reflected in the way they played. Each player is, and was treated as, a valued member of the team. In my 40 odd years being around football, I have never come across a more supportive bunch of boys!
A special thanks to our amazing manager Lisa for organising us all, even when she was on the other side of the world for a big chunk of the season!

It has been an absolute pleasure coaching these boys. They are a credit to the wonderful families that make this team so awesome!

Hope to see you all next year to take out the title!
