A final round agonizing defeat marked the end of an encouraging season for the U18A’s boys.

Despite a slow start to the campaign, the team showed a fantastic attitude and willingness to work hard for each other. This reflected in their improving performances and results as the season progressed and they found themselves in the top 4 leading into the final round, in what is regarded as a very strong competition.

Luck was certainly not on their side and many of the rain affected rounds saw them miss opportunities of collecting maximum points against some of the weaker teams in the competition.

This did not alter their determination in any way and they provided us with great entertaining football throughout the season. Against some tough opposition, they never shirked from their responsibilities on the field and one can only be proud of their efforts and evident growth as both footballers and young men.

This team can look forward to many successful seasons ahead based on their commitment and attitude to the game.
