As the final whistle blows on another thrilling season, we want to take a moment to reflect on what has truly been an incredible journey for the Eagles U18C-2 Team.

This year brought more physically demanding games than ever before. Week in, week out, we faced tough opposition, but we never backed down. Instead, we rose to the challenge, proving we can compete at a high standard and showing a hunger to improve—both as a team and as individuals.

From the very first kick-off, we knew every game would demand 100% effort, skill, and determination. And you delivered. Every single player played a vital role this season, and you should be immensely proud of what you’ve achieved. Your growth, grit, and commitment were nothing short of inspiring.

Finishing 3rd on the ladder—just one point shy of the minor premiers—is a phenomenal achievement. It’s a clear sign that this team can easily compete at this level. The margin was razor-thin, if rain didn’t stop play for some key games it could have been a different story!

A massive thank you to the boys for your hard work, energy, and passion. Coaching you again this year has been an absolute pleasure. You brought heart to every training session and fire-in-the-belly to every match.

And to our incredible supporters—parents, pooches, and pitch-side cheer squads—you’ve been our No. 1 fans all season long. Your encouragement lifted the team and made every game feel like a home game. We hope we’ve kept you entertained!
