6A-2 Season Report
What a great bunch of kids who came together as the 6A2. With only one player having played before we were surprised to be placed in A grade and the games reflected that we were almost all new to soccer. However, this didn’t deter the boys who courageously showed up week after week ready to give it their all. We came away with two wins and a handful of goals but more importantly we gained new friendships, some new skills, a never say die attitude and some smiles and laughs along the way. I am so proud of the boys and the character and sportsmanship they showed throughout a tough season.
Jack – Jack, you have non-stop energy and a massive heart. You play with such passion and skill and you led the team with your experience.
Jonnah – Jonnah, you have a heart of gold. You are strong, skilful and kind and always looked out for your team mates. You finished off the season with your strongest performance bagging two goals.
Kurt – Kurt, you have a great little left boot and you should be proud of your improvement this season. Super effort my little mate.
Luke – Luke, you are the quite achiever and my most improved. Once you began to gain confidence, you were invaluable going to the ball and shutting it down.
Taj – Taj, you have strong skills and a good understanding of the game and stopped countless goals this season and scored some crackers too.
Thank you to Brad for all his support as manager and to the families for your help, support and encouragement throughout the season. You should be so proud of your boys and the resilience they displayed this season. I feel so privileged to have had the opportunity to coach them. I hope to see them all back next year for even bigger and better things.
