6D Season Report
The 6D’s had a great season albeit a short one. This was their first year of soccer and they were awesome. These boys have been a pleasure to coach and I have enjoyed watching them learn and grow as individuals and as a team.
Kurt improved greatly over the season and got better with each game. He had a natural talent for defence and was always running back to keep the goals out. His kicking and dribbling skills improved over the season.
Jayden took some time to ward up to the game but when he did he bagged a couple of great goals. His confidence was improving as was his kicking and passing.
Brodie was our smiling assassin. He is a super fun kid and a crowd pleaser. He always gave the sideline a smile on his way to score a goal. He tried his best every week and was a great team player.
Charlie tried his very best every weeks both at training and at the game. He improved a lot over the season and his passing and kicking kept on getting better. He never stopped trying or running.
Kye showed grit and determination and gave it his all week after week. His dribbling skills kept getting better and his understanding of the game was improving. He scored some great goals over the season and never gave up.
Overall the boys had a great season and was so impressed at how much they improved in such a short time. Every week they got better and had really started to gel as a team. They showed great team spirit and great sportsmanship.
Thanks to our manager Nicole for keeping us organised.
Thanks to all our amazing parents and grandparents who got the boys to the games and cheered with such passion. I really appreciated all of your support.
These boys have been an absolute delight to coach and I have annoyed every minute. Their smiling faces and lovely natures made it easy. I have been privileged to have been part of their soccer journey.
Great season boys!
Shelley
