The team this year were a newly created group of players either starting at a new club and returning players from under 6’s.

The group grew in confidence with every game, and by the end of the season were playing as a great team unit.

A great year was had by all the players.

Our smallest player, Griffin, grew in confidence with every game, and by the end of season was tackling kids double his size, and asking for harder sessions at training. Levi was our little ball of energy, in every play in every second he was on the field. When it came enthusiasm…no one could match Tyson. For the 2 goals he scored all season…he hit about 15 goals posts!! But never stopped trying to put the ball away. Zollie was solid up front, and once he learnt to lift his head and focus on the goals in front of him…his scoring greatly improved. Finally is Isaac…our highest goal scorer for the year bagging somewhere around the 40 goals mark!! His energy in defence was also very high, as was he team talk and encouragement.

All in all, a fantastic team effort by everyone involved in the side, especially Brett our manager and every parent who got the kids to training and games.
