What a year for the U8F1’s with only 1 loss (to our own club!) and many close games. These boys improved from game to game. The step up to under 8’s comes with some rule changes. They quickly learned Corner kicks, how to be Goalkeeper and throw-in’s and even dealt with the craziness of the new Covid world well. Paul and I could not be prouder of the boys in the way they handled themselves, both on and off the field.

Billy: Such a speedy little spitfire! Great job this year, Billy. No one could believe this was your first year playing soccer. You are a natural, some of those shots on goals were magnificent.

Ethan: What control with his feet, Ethan some of those touches, dribbling skills and epic goals were fantastic. You have grace and speed all up and down the field. Keep up the momentum.

Fletcher: Awesome job this year Fletch, you controlled the backline at centre back and how about some of those saved goals.

Harry: Always a team player, showing support and love for his mates. Your runs up and down the wings were great. Fantastic season!

Hayden: What a great year for you Hayden, helping to control the backs and wings and with some spectacular saves in goals. And fabulous celebrating afterwards.

Heath: You get faster and faster each game! And more and more confident and fun on the field. Well played, Heath!

Jet: Great passing, defending and some awesome saves. You stick to your position, you help direct and support your teammates around the field.

Kade: Several amazing goals this year, even a super cool one from way far away! Also great work up and down the wings and with putting awesome crosses in.

Micah: One of our highest goal-getters! Such good ball control and you always seem to manage those sneaky break-aways with the ball to score just when it was needed most.
