What a whirl wind of a season!  We started with 9 very excited boys as two teams merged.  The boys moved onto a “BIG” field and had the introduction of a goalie for the first time!

Thanks to Chris Palmervale for stepping in to coach our beautiful boys.  COVID made it difficult (are we starting? was the season going ahead? when can we train?).  With some confusion we locked in a training day.  But how do you get a team full of 7/8 year olds to follow social distancing?  At least the parents got a giggle.

We had a pretty good season with some strong wins, followed by some slower games.  Oliver and Sebastian proved to be strong on the attack with some fancy foot work, Ryan and Cooper, always in amongst the thick of the game. James and Bailey where always there to back up their team mates.  Toby P was a great all over player and enjoyed any position he was placed in.  Toby M was always happy to hang back and defend.

A great little team and great families to enjoy a weird season, and a pleasure to manage.
