This year’s competition for the boys was extremely challenging, with limited training and preparation needed to compete at a high level. A win was hard to come by in the first half of the season and the boys quickly realised every game was going to be a battle.

All the boys showed great character and determination in every game and always put in 100% effort and that’s why they turned things around the second half of the season and had a good run of wins to finish the year of on a high. It was pleasure coaching them and I hope they all enjoyed the season.

The team:

Cruze – First year in this team and he fitted straight in, great runner of the ball and got better every game.

Ryan – Strong and safe as always you can always rely on him to do the job.

Archie – Huge thanks for playing in goals a lot and making great saves, when he wasn’t goalie he always gave the opposition headaches.

Lyle – Tried his best every game and made one of the best saves of the year to give us a win.

Sebastian – Scored some crackers this year to get us out of trouble, had a great year tearing up the opposition.

Ben – Excellent year always reliable at the back and very intelligent with the options he takes.

Aidan – Had another strong season using his skill and passing game at his favourite right midfield position.

Jax – New to the team and improved every game scored one of the most unusual goals which amazed everyone.

Noah – The everywhere player coaches love, can play any position and can do it all.

Josh – Had some standout games this year, when he switches on lookout. Almost broke the crossbar with a thunderous volley.
