Our group of young athletes assembled in February and right from the start we were up against it with the weather. Our first two rounds of training were cancelled and we played our first game with some team members having never met.

With the blessing of dry days we were able to achieve 12 Games with 5 x won, 3 x draw and 4 x losses that came with 26 goal for and 24 against.

For the most part these boys had us on the edge of our seats and as each week went by it was rewarding to see their skills grow as individual players and of course grow as team with ever building comradery.

Nearing the end of the season it was evident that the introductory works of playing in a position was starting to take shape and we had some stand out moments of defence with some technical talent emerging in the front line.

Of course a special thanks to coach Mick for the tireless efforts & all parents involved in ground duty along with the committee of EEFC for maintain the best season possible.
