The U9F’s – what a great season we had. We had some win’s, some draws, and some losses but more importantly the boys had a lot of fun.

I am extremely proud of all our players – Flynn, Donovan, Ethan, Nicholas, Max, Riley, Houston, Luca, James and Damon. Each one of you bought something different to the field. Every week the boys showed up and tried their best, not worrying if they won or lost.

We had some focused training sessions, and some totally chaotic ones too. Some weeks I’m sure they spent more time rolling around on the ground than kicking a ball, but Craig and Kai powered on and the boys kept showing up.

There was definitely progress made as the season went on. In one of our final games the boys played extremely well as a team, putting on a great game for the parents to watch.

A big thankyou to our coaches Craig and Kai for all the effort they put in with the boys over the season. I’d also like to thank all the parents – our boys always had a great show of support on the sidelines every single week cheering them on.

I’m sure lots of new friendships have been made, and I hope the boys all come back again next year so we can do it all again.
