Wow. How lucky I am to be the coach of these wonderful girls. They started out the season in the B’s and absolutely blitz it. I think we only conceded 1 goal in that whole time. Regrading and we got pushed up to the A’s. I think a lot of the parents had nerves but I had confidence this was where our girls deserved to be. It was tough at first. Mostly because we forgot how to defend after dominating so many games. We only had 1 win and a lot of draws in the back end of the season but we definitely showed that we were where we are supposed to be. I couldn’t be prouder of these girls. A little bit of attitude at training starting to creep in now they’re getting older but the commitment on game day I can’t fault. Every one of them put in 100% every week and their success is a credit to them. Thank you to all the parents also for the support. Particularly in those close games where we were all on the edge of our seats.
