W11A Season Report
What a season it has been for our W11A girls soccer team!
Despite the challenges of numerous washout rounds due to relentless rain, our team showed incredible determination, resilience, and skill on the field.
This was a particularly special season, as it was the first time these talented girls played together. The season saw our team losing only two games, a testament to the hard work and spirit these girls brought every single week.
Kim, Tori, Alirah, Milla, Layla, Abby, Ava, Tilly, Ash, Waverley, and Florence played their hearts out, learning and improving with each match. Their ability to listen, adapt, and most importantly, have fun, was a joy to witness.
We had some truly heart-stopping moments throughout the season, with outstanding defensive plays that kept us on the edge of our seats. Whether it was using the width of the field to create space, passing to teammates in the perfect gap, or relentlessly chasing down the ball, these girls played with passion and determination in every game. Even in the face of wet, freezing, and sometimes downright horrible conditions—including a dust storm—the girls never backed down.
Their constant pressure on the opposition and their awesome defending were nothing short of inspiring. They were absolute troopers, braving the elements with smiles on their faces and fire in their hearts.
This year, our girls truly smashed it in the A’s. The games were nothing short of incredible to watch, and they have set the bar high for future seasons.
To Kim, Tori, Alirah, Milla, Layla, Abby, Ava, Tilly, Ash, Waverley, and Florence—congratulations on an amazing season! You truly have made everyone so proud, and we can’t wait to see what you will achieve next year. Well done, girls!
