What a season it was for the W06C girls. It was the first time playing soccer for most of the team, and they all learnt so much each and every week. It was a tough but rewarding season for them. The girls fought hard every week and all worked together every game running their little hearts out up and down the field. Their smiles lit up the fields and the group hugs when a goal was scored were magic moments for the girls!

We were so lucky to have Brad as our coach, and his son Brodie as assistant coach. There were lots of disruptions to training due to the weather, and despite this, Brad and Brodie patiently encouraged and taught the girls about the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. They cheered on the girls every single week, and made them feel like the biggest champions! Seeing the improvement in their soccer skills and understanding of the game each week was wonderful.

Well done girls, we are all so proud of you.
