W07D Season Report 2023

A great season from all girls who really came together as a team and had a great time whenever they were together. Many of the girls had never played before so were learning every week during training and at the games. They all listened and followed what we asked and got better as the season progressed.

Annaliese Nightingales: Our goal scorer with her fantastic dribbling skills. Was always ready to play and train and had a great attitude every week.

Indy Duesing: Indy gained confidence over the season and at the end was defending and attacking without fear which was great to see.

Briar Hodge: Our self-named bulldozer who took the ball straight through the other teams with her determination to score every week.

Beatrix Gibara: Our little demon who never gave up on any ball and chased everything every game. Scored some great goals through sheer determination.

Edith Van De Brug: You can do it Edie we all know you can as you did some great defending and attacking with great goals during the season.

Mikayla Benikos: Mikayla loved her first season and improved throughout the year. Has a very powerful right foot when Mikayla decides to use it.

Thank you to Emily who kept us organised during the year with updates on game locations, times and who was doing the fruit.

Finally, thanks to all the parents who made coaching easy for me and the great support you gave the girls.
