A wonderfully fun, entertaining and enjoyable season for our girls! Half of the team hadn’t even stepped foot on a football pitch until this year and the way they grew and learnt to play as a team, was such a joy to watch! They laughed and cartwheeled themselves through the season and we couldn’t be more proud of them!

A big shout out and thank you to all of the grandparents, uncles, aunties and cousins who came to watch and support the girls this season and a special shout out to Chris for being the best coach.

Highlights include;
– Some absolutely brilliant wins, when the goals just kept coming!!
– Reminding them all at the start (and half time), which way to run!
– A couple of games with no subs when they all played their little hearts out, with lots of red faces by the end!
– Starting one game to find out 5 minutes in that we were on the wrong pitch!
– Our last game with our purple socks, when we took the win to end the season!

Penny
Our central defender extraordinaire – the player whose confidence grew the most this season! When the opposition breaks, she’s already there. Boots ready, eyes locked and legs flying into action, no one gets past her without a challenge!

Evie
Our little pocket rocket – also known as the blur, because by the time you see her, she’s already ten steps ahead. She’s the fastest pair of boots on the field, zooming past defenders like they are standing still!

Cobie
Our unstoppable consistency queen, with her massive smile, rain or shine she’s always switched on and ready to play! With cool confidence and calm control, she’s the steady heartbeat of the team.

Lucy
Our mix of style and hustle, always showing up with the coolest socks, the best accessories with fabulous flair. But don’t be fooled, this girl means business when that whistle blows!

Ella
Our fearless self-appointed captain (and part time coach!) who always gave it her all. Loud, proud and very competitive, (often against her sister) she plays every game like it’s the world cup final.

Lily
Our sharp shooter has a knack for finding the net from every angle, sometimes whilst juggling a conversation with a teammate! She’s a feisty competitor and a nightmare for the opposition when she’s on a roll.

Ava
Our little queen of sparkle! She was determined to love the game (even with her sunglasses on!) and her positive attitude always shone through. She gave it her best —whether it was chasing the ball down, supporting her teammates, or celebrating small wins with big smiles.
