W8D was a truly lovely team this year. No subs for our team this year, but that just made us stronger! We all made every game, and gave each one of them our all.

Ava – a leap and a kick and the ball is away!

Addie – great strong and accurate kick, get that ball outta there! Great goalie.

Jessica – found her feet this year, took off in the second half of the season. Keep at that ball Jess!

Paige – always there, always chasing, great kicking, awesome all round player.

Sarah – almost always found defending, great at kicking the ball out from near her goal and through her opponents’ legs!

Sienna – first to the ball. Great strong kick and nice and fast.

Sophie – whippet, rocket, seems to come from nowhere to get that ball.

With Bec coaching down the sidelines (with support from all the parents, especially Pete) our team improved every game. On a bigger field size and with more players on the field the girls gradually headed towards more structured positions as the season progressed, and improvement on all fronts was seen each week.

Congratulations W8D on an enjoyable season and some great teamwork.
