2020 Season Report

W9A Season Report

Another year of fun and great soccer. This year we had two teams come together and they didn’t disappoint.

Some really talented girls for their age, and such a pleasure to coach. We had some really good wins, and even some of the loses, the girls played so well and just got unlucky. They should all be very proud of them self as I know I am. Great season girls, can’t wait to do it all again on the bigger field next year. I think we will see a couple of our girls leave the club to make the SSFA rep side which I have no doubt they will make it with flying colours. Sorry to see them go but so happy for them.

Such a great bunch of kids.

ZOLA – Players, player this year and rightfully so. What a Gem to coach and what a player. Great season Z. One of the best defenders in the 9As comp.

Capri – Another good season for Capri in the mid field. Dug deep when it mattered and passing was really good and some great runs with the ball. Good season Capri.

Summer – Summer won the coaches most improved award this year after showing so much growth in her game. She should be very proud of her season. Was a belter of a year from Summer. Well done.

Sienna – Another great year, skill set has come so far and was a pleasure to watch. Great control work this season. Well done.

Jordan – Our centre Midfielder and she did an amazing job learning her position and holding the ball up for her forwards. Very strong season and well-done J.

Anita – So very proud of Anita. First season ever to play soccer and coming in to a team that have played for a while and into an A’s comp would have been so tough, but she didn’t back down and tried so hard and got better and better as the season went on. Well done Anita.

Bella – Great season Bella, yet again your listening and determination made you so easy to coach what a pleasure. Like last year you knew your position and did it very well. Well done.

Tora – Tora was another great listener and a pleasure to coach. She grow and grow and played some great defence for the team. Had a fantastic season well done Tora.

Ava – 4^th season with Ava now, and like each year is our leading goal scorer. Scored some crucial goals this season for us and played some real great moments up front with her control. Great work.

Chloe – Very much the player all teams need, The player who is always in everything. Never gives up. Played some great minutes upfront and in the midfield. Good season Chlo.

Annie – Annie was like a jack in the box, once you wound her up she wouldn’t stop. What a great end to the season for Annie, some really great plays and touches. So close to being coaches most improved just behind Summer. Great work.

Well done Girls, I enjoyed every moment of this year and I hope you did too.
