Congratulations to our W9As on a fantastic season in 2024!

This year we saw the return of our girls for another cracking year with the addition of Olivia, who greatly joined the club to round out our team for 2024.

This year, the girls demonstrated skill, determination, and impressive teamwork on the field. Their love for the game made for an exciting season, marked by standout performances and memorable victories.

Thanks to all the parents and all the families for the support throughout the season, the achievements of the team wouldn’t be possible without you all. We love all cheering from the sidelines, oranges and lollies!

The girls not only displayed their technical abilities but also displayed sportsmanship and resilience. Each game and training they showed up, put in the effort, had lots of laughs and many shots at goal!

Bridget – Our little pocket rocket. Bridget can move, and quickly too. She holds her position well and can certainly score a goal.  Bridget along with the other strikers has found the net many times during the season. You can always count on Bridget to keep hustling and winning the ball.

Emily – Cool Calm Emmy – Emily has incredible ball control and ball skills. Emily is the calmest of the girls.  Even with the ball. This talent frustrates other teams. Em can find the back of the net and in the most elegant way. Emily has a huge love for the game we love to see.

Georgia – Our number 1 Keeper. G is our star keeper! She made many incredible saves during the season. We are very lucky to have Georgia who willingly plays her role as keeper each week making it easier for the coaches to only have to pick one other girl each week. G slots into the midfield when not in goals, she will always hunt down that ball in the mid field.

Layna – Our back wall.  Layna loves her role in the backs and can certainly clear a ball out of our end with her big boot or long throw-ins. Duty calls when it’s a corner, Layna has put in many great corners for the girls to score off during the year.

Milla – The Engine room. Milla does not stop until she cant go anymore. Milla has a passion for football that reflects in her game every week. A strong ball runner and can clear a ball from back field. Milla loves a crack at goals.

Nia – The Hustler. Nia will always fight for the ball, if there is anyone that can hustle a ball out of a tight space it will be Nia. She always has a trick up her sleeve for every game. Nia loves a challenge, especially one set by Coach Mike.

Olivia – Speedy Livi. You can guarantee Livi will get there and make that tackle. She has the quickest legs in the team and never backs down from a tackle. Livi played her first ever season of soccer this year and had an incredible year finding her home in the backs alongside Layna.

Sienna – Senny the striker. You can always count on Sen to be in the right place at the right time. Sienna has a great vision of the game, she holds her position incredibly well, she knows her role as striker and never ever looks like giving up on a play.

Riley – The Wanderer. Riley is our cover girl. She will cover all positions, and when told to play one position she would be wandering into the backs to cover and support and will be up front cracking rockets into the back of the net. Riley leaves everything she has on the field week in and week out.

Each of the girls have incredible talent and love for football. Throughout the year each player grew stronger each week, this was shown in their games as a team throughout the season. We had many contenders for highest pitch scream, the most tik tok dances during training, the best handshakes, the longest piggyback carries and of course the most supportive friendships. We are very proud of this bunch of talented girls and can’t wait to see you all on the field again!
