Unexpectedly I had the pleasure of coaching 8 great boys from eagles U8I-2.

The boys are such a lively bunch, and honestly had more fun than I thought I would this season. If I had one word to describe the team, it would be HEART. They never gave up, we had a lot of good wins this season, but I am more proud of some of the games we lost. The games where they dug deep and didn’t give up until the final whistle. I need to give a huge thankyou to Kristy the manager but also every single parent, their support made my job much easier, and I have come away with a new group of friends. That’s worth it alone.

Also, special mention to Ben, I would not have been able to coach without his guidance and help week in week out. Thank you team!!
