This was our boys first season playing U18 football and with our squad of 18 players with ages ranging from 15- 17. We welcomed 5 new players to the Eagles this year and all the boys worked together beautifully.

My guys worked their guts out this year and finished equal point Minor Premiers but tabled second due to goal difference.

Come finals time we lost our Semi-Final 0-0 after extra time, so hard to work hard to get our chance to get back in the Grand Final. And that we did. After trailing 1-0 in the Final, we fought back with heart and soul and won the game 4-2, and well and truly earnt our spot in the GF.

Grand Final day we once again put everything into it after trailing 3-1, we came back to make it a 3-3 draw which unfortunately, meant a loss for us. But if I was to score these guys on effort in that game then we won hands down and we can proudly say that even though Menai won the comp, they never beat us throughout the season or the finals.

Thanks to my Manager Michael Clay for always keeping us organized and a massive thanks to my boys for a great season and I hope to see you back next year.
