What a great season, great bunch of boys, great families and their support. From start to finish the boys gave it everything they had. We had a fantastic winning season with the boys improving in each game they played. Coach & Managers couldn’t be prouder of this little team!

As the season went on we watched each player develop in one way or another, we figured out who our defenders were & who our strikers were. With everyone on the team bagging a handful of goals or putting their bodies on the line to save one at the other end, each boy played their part every game.

Shout out to our Managers Danni & Micheal for keeping everyone updated and making things run smoothly all season long. And coach Chris for leading the way and helping the boys develop their skills throughout the season.

Player Profiles:

James – The speedster of the team!

Fast as lighting, always on the move. No one could beat this kid from one end of the field to another. Great in defence and knows how to score a goal to two.

Ben – Ben The Bulldog!

With power in his kick he was our go to side line kicker, always pushing the ball forward. And always ready to drop back and defend or tackle when needed. Ben opened our season scoring with a double of his own in our first game.

Jaxon – The Last Minute Recruit!

In need of one more player to complete the team  Jaxon came along and didn’t disappoint. His ability to dribble the ball down the line was impressive. Not to mention the goals he accumulated over the season. Always putting his body on the line in defence and never wanting to come off after a big collision takes a special kind of a player.

Max – The Golden Boot!

Max was our goal scoring machine, always ready to pounce and take the shot, even if it was from half way. Always competitive and ready to get back and defend when needed.

Note to self I need to stop paying him per goal, it’s cost a small fortune.

Flynn – The Irish Dancer!

Every time Flynn scored the dancing would start,  or even if he hadn’t scored haha. But when it came down to it, he was always ready to defend or run onto that ball. And with a handful of goals to his name this season we saw many dances.

Jackson – The Warrior!

By mid season Jackson figured out scoring and had a taste for it, bagging himself a few hat-tricks along the way. But more importantly, his ability to defend, be knocked down in the process and get back up again was impressive.

A big thank you to all the parents, families who supported us from the sideline all season long.

Each of the boys brought something unique to the team this season, a season full of smiles, laughter and friendships. Whether it was a great pass, a goal right before the buzzer or simply backing up a teammate, these boys learnt a lot about players in a team this season. It’s been an absolute pleasure coaching/managers all the boys this season! Can’t wait to see what next season holds for them all.
