The U14Ds have had an outstanding year. From the very beginning of the season, the boys showed great commitment, enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard for one another. .

The boys produced some fantastic performances throughout the season, narrowly missing being declared Minor Premiers and battling through a very soggy final with Sylvania to secure a Grand Final spot against Gymea.

Grand Final Day arrived and the boys were super-focused and came on the field with a can-do attitude. Their performance was the best it has been all year and they dominated both halves, making countless attacks and so many attempts on goal but unfortunately luck was not on their side this season and Gymea came away with the win in extra time.
The one thing that stood out for everyone involved in the final game was the attitude of the boys. They played with passion and dedication and every player gave everything they had. Not winning the Grand Final was not something that could take away the immense feeling of pride that was felt, not only by the families, but by the boys themselves.

Special thanks to all the families that supported the team this year.

Looking forward to next year already
