This was the first competitive season all the boys had participated in. They were eager to play and got on with each other from the very first training session. Whilst each boy came with different levels of skill and experience, they all tried their best every Saturday morning. Led by Coach K, the boys showed great enthusiasm and commitment each week. As the season progressed, they grew in confidence and continued to improve, both as individuals and as a team.

The team were extremely supportive of each other and all had a great time playing together. They will all be much stronger players because of this season and are already looking forward to next year. The boys should all be extremely proud of themselves.

One day, when they are much older and coming to the end of their soccer careers, whenever that may be, I am sure they will look back fondly on where it all began.
