What a fantastic season it has been for our Girls Under 8 F Grade team!

This year we had the pleasure of coaching a wonderful group of nine players: Lily Adams, Ava Burkett, Charlotte Kleeman, Abigail Nash, Audrey van De Brug, Phoebe Harvey, Lucy Lucas, Cobie Lustre and Penelope Wright. It has been a privilege to watch each of the girls grow in confidence, develop their skills and, most importantly, enjoy playing soccer.

While the season included a mix of wins and losses, the real success was seeing the girls improve each week. Throughout the season they embraced the challenge of playing different positions, helping them discover their strengths and develop a better understanding of the game.

It was fantastic to see the improvement in their positioning, passing and defensive play. We were especially proud of the girls who volunteered to play as goalkeeper, showing courage, determination and a great team-first attitude.

One of the highlights of the season was watching nine girls from three different schools come together to form a supportive and encouraging team. Their friendships, teamwork and willingness to help one another grow with every game, making them a pleasure to coach.

A big thank you to our team manager, Martha Kypreos, for all of her organisation and support throughout the season. We’d also like to thank all of our parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, brothers and sisters for their encouragement and support from the sidelines.

Finally, thank you to all of our players for your effort, enthusiasm and positive attitude every week. We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved this season and hope you continue to enjoy your soccer for many years to come.

Well done girls, and congratulations on a fantastic season!
